All Shook Up!

I just had a member from Snoopbuddy.com call me. She was crying on the phone and all upset about her husband. She is sure he is cheating on her. They have been married for 17 years. She has 2 kids. He has erased all his cell phone records. All the signs are there. I feel for her. She is the reason I started this site. A woman like her who has that gut feeling her husband is cheating on her. She said she is depressed and is not taking care of herself. Her husband is not calling her during the day or making any effort to be with her. He is not spending time with the kids or taking care of the house. Their sex life has declined, etc. When she calls him at work he ignores her and does not call her nearly as much as he used to!!Bummer. She does not have the means for a private investigator as he keep tight reigns on all the money!! I feel good that I am helping her. This is what the site is all about!!! Check it out if you need it. It is cool! I am glad I am helping people.

Cooper Hawks Pictures

Chris from GABO came over to photograph the hawks and not one showed for him or the red-breasted nuthatch either. Poor guy, he had no luck in my yard looking for birds. I saw 2 red-breasted nuthatches today at the feeder. Hopefully, I will have some pictures of the nesting Coopers Hawks. They are quite elusive

I have been seeing them daily now-things are heating up at the nest. She is istting on eggs for sure!

Cooper Hawks

I hope to post some pictures soon of my Coopers Hawk pair as I have a fellow birder coming over today to take some pictures of the birds. Last evening I saw them mating on the tree. Of course when I pointed that out to my 13 year old daughter. Her response was OOOoooH!! I am sure that will change in a few years. More later.....

Nesting Coopers Hawks Outside Kitchen Window

I just noticed a pair of Coopers hawks outside my kitchen window. Normally I watch TV during lunch, but I am on this new diet that requires no TV watching during meals. So I now I face the outside and low and behold and I found a whole new world out there!!! The hawks are busy setting up house. Every day I see them wizz by. The have conveniently located themselves near the bird feeder. I expect that when the babies come with their ferocious appetite that my feeder birds will diminish rapidly. Bummer!
